Conant Named A-10 Performer of the Week

The junior took second overall at the Minuteman Invitational last weekend.

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts women's cross country junior Sarah Conant has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week after helping the Minutewomen to a team first-place finish in their 2021 opener last weekend.
 
Conant was the top finisher for the Minutewomen at the Vermont Invitational on September 4, taking second overall in the 5K race with a time of 18 minutes, 13:10 seconds in a field of 51 competitors.
 
UMass will be back in action this Saturday, September, 11, hosting the Ken O'Brien Minuteman Invitational at the UMass Cross Country Course.
