Women's Cross Country Lands Seventh At MAC Championships

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Junior Lara Mannes Diaz de Cerio was the top UMass finisher as the University of Massachusetts women's cross country competed in the MAC Championships for the first time on Saturday afternoon. The Minutewomen posted a score of 187, taking seventh out of 13 schools, while Toledo won the team title with a score of 32.
THE UMASS TOP-FIVE
- Mannes Diaz de Cerio came in first for the Minutewomen in the 6K with a time of 21:30.4, taking 26th out of 109 runners.
- Junior Rylee Davis followed in 30th overall in 21:38.5.
- Senior Sydney Adams placed third on the team and 37th overall (21:54.5).
- Junior Anna Todd claimed 56th with a time of 22:22.5.
- Senior Annika Zuschlag rounded out the UMass scoring in 57th overall (22:23.8).

The Minutewomen will return to action at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships at Hopkinton Fairgrounds in Hopkinton, N.H., on November 14.
