UMass women's cross country will open up its first season under head coach Christine Engel this Saturday, September 4, when the squad heads to St. Albans, Vermont for its first ever trip to the Vermont invitational where the squad will square off against New England rivals UMass Lowell, Northeastern and Vermont. The Minutewomen roster is an experienced one that features eight upperclassmen, including two-time All-Atlantic 10 honorees in graduate student Caroline Clark and junior Sarah Conant.
