Three Football Alumni Perform For NFL Scouts During 2021 Pro Day

Jarrell Addo, Larnel Coleman and Jarvis Miller participated in annual event held for professional scouts

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts football alumni Jarrell Addo (2014-18), Larnel Coleman (2016-20) and Jarvis Miller (2019) completed a series of drills in front of, and logged official measurements with, representatives from 16 National Football League teams during the 2021 UMass Football Pro Day on Thursday. 

The event was limited to pro day participants and selected participant family members, team personnel and professional scouts, and was not open to public viewing. Representatives for 16 NFL franchises attended 2021 UMass Football Pro Day, including Arizona, Carolina, Dallas, Green Bay, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Miami, Minnesota, New England, New York Giants, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Tennessee and Washington.

The participants' activities comprised all traditional pro day metrics, including the Wonderlic Test, body measurements, the bench press, vertical jump, broad jump, 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 agility test, three cone drill, 60-yard shuffle and position-specific drills. 

Addo appeared in 29 games (17 starts) between the 2014-18 seasons and spent time at defensive back and linebacker. He finished his career with 132 tackles, including 14.0 TFLs, eight pass breakups, two fumbles forced, one fumble recovery and an interception.
 
Coleman made 29 starts on the UMass offensive line, all at either right tackle (13) or left tackle (16), and appeared in 40 career games. The Malden, Massachusetts, native won Phil Steele All-Independent Team as a redshirt junior (2019) and redshirt senior (2020) and was an Outland Trophy candidate as one of the top interior lineman in the nation during 2020.
 
Miller played the 2019 season at Massachusetts as a graduate transfer from Penn State. He won Phil Steele All-Independent Team for his work at linebacker during the season, which included 60 tackles, 4.5 TFLs and 1.0 sacks. Prior to that, Miller posted 23 total tackles, 2.0 TFLs, one pass breakup and a fumble recovery in 33 games at Penn State between the 2016-18 seasons.

The 2021 NFL Draft begins on Thurs., April 29 with the first round. Rounds two and three follow on Fri., April 30 ahead of the fourth through seventh rounds on Sat., May 1.
