UMass Sends Seven To URI Multi Meet

Five Minutewomen and two Minutemen will be in action at Mackal Field House this Thursday and Friday.

University of Massachusetts track and field will send seven individuals to Kingston, Rhode Island this Thursday and Friday for URI's Multi Meet. The action will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday with the men's heptathlon as 60m dash, long jump, shot put and high jump will be contested on day one. The meet will conclude on Friday with day two of the men's heptathlon (60mH, pole vault and 1,000m) along with the women's pentathlon (60mH, high jump, shot put, long jump, 800m) at 11 a.m.

Scheduled to compete for the Minutemen are Matthew Tarantino and Mason Miller. For the Minutewomen, Katelyn Gorgenyi, Lillian Kirry, Kira Kopec, Heather Kurland and Madison Witt are slated to see action.
