The junior Setauket, New York, native had a four-point weekend to help the Minutemen sweep UVM.

AMHERST, Mass. – No. 10/13 University of Massachusetts hockey junior forward Bobby Trivigno has been tabbed the Hockey East Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. Trivigno earns the honor for the first time in his career and is the second Minuteman to receive the recognition this season.

Trivigno had a four-point weekend with a goal and three assists in a two-game sweep of Vermont and was +2. The Setauket, New York, native's shorthanded empty net goal capped the scoring in Saturday's 4-0 victory. He then followed up by having a hand in three of four goals in Sunday's 4-1 win, posting a new career single-game best with three assists and matching his career single game best in points.
