UMass women's track and field saw four new top-five all-time marks set and five individual event wins last Saturday at Rhode Island's unscored Sorlien Invitational. Junior Danielle Notarfrancesco won shot put with a toss of 46 feet, 10 inches, while classmate Lauren LaDere followed in second and improved her No. 3 all-time mark in the UMass record book with a PR of 46 feet, 1.50 inches. In weight throw, Notarfrancesco was second with a personal-best throw of 54 feet, 3.75 inches, which improved her No. 2 all-time UMass mark. Senior Jada Harris placed first in high jump, clearing 5 feet, 8 inches and ran 7.85 seconds to second in the 60 meter dash, tying her for fifth all-time in program history. Seniors Emilie Cowan and Lindsay Witt went 1-2 in 400m at 56.39 seconds and 56.92 seconds, respectively. Witt's performance landed her fourth all-time on UMass' top-five list. Witt also won the 200 meter with a time of 25.45 seconds. The following individuals are expected to compete on Friday:
