Largay Joins Atlanta Falcons For Rookie Mini-Camp

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts football three-year starter on the offensive line Jake Largay will join the Atlanta Falcons for the organization's rookie mini-camp from May 10-12. Largay is the fifth former player to earn a spot with an NFL organization this week, joining former teammates Bryton Barr (New York Giants), Andy Isabella (Arizona Cardinals), Lee Moses (Arizona Cardinals) and Marquis Young (Indianapolis Colts).

Largay, originally recruited to UMass as a defensive lineman, switched to the offensive side of the ball and made 42 career appearances and 32 starts protecting quarterbacks and ball carriers at guard and tackle. As a senior in 2018, he rotated through three starting positions over the 12-game slate with nine at right guard, two at left guard and one at left tackle.

UMass football begins its 2019 season at Rutgers on Fri., Aug. 30. The Minutemen host their first home game of the year the following weekend with a Sat., Sept. 7 contest against Southern Illinois at McGuirk Alumni Stadium. Kickoff for both contests will be announced at later dates.
