SENIOR DAY HONOREES
- Eleven members of the team will participate in the Senior Day pregame activities on Saturday before the game at BYU, including Jordan Adams, Mike Caggiano, Cooper Garcia, Kyle Horn, Tyshaun Ingram, Martin Mangram, Jarvis Miller, Sadiq Palmer, Isaiah Rodgers, Randall West and Mike Yerardi.
- The ceremony will take place on the field at McGuirk Alumni Stadium prior to kickoff at Noon.
YOUNG BUCKS
- UMass football is tied for second in FBS for total true-freshmen to start a game this season with eight, alongside Tennessee.
- Massachusetts had three rookies make starts on offense and five do so on defense so far this season.
- It includes Helber Fagundes (OL), Wilson Frederic (DL), Jermaine "OC" Johnson, Jr. (WR), Grant Laws (DL), Josh Wallace (CB), Johnathon Weir (DL), Dariyan Wiley (WR) and Billy Wooden (DL).
STARTING THE MERRY-GO-ROUND
- UMass is tied for fourth across the nation in most offensive and defensive players to make at least one start this season with 44 individuals: 23 on defense and 21 on offense.
- BYU leads with 49 different starters and Old Dominion follows with 47. NC State is third with 45. Georgia Tech is even with UMass at 44 each.
- UMass is also tied for second across the country in most true-freshman starters this season with eight.
A HISTORIC AMOUNT OF KICK RETURN YARDS
- Senior cornerback Isaiah Rodgers has 1,211 kick return yards over 48 returns during the 2019 season.
- It currently ranks Rodgers 18th all-time in FBS history for most kick return yards in one season.
- He has 452 more kick return yards than the next player in the country and averages 25.2 per return, which is 22nd overall in the nation.
