UMass Athletics, Game Plan Announce Partnership

AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts Athletics will work with Game Plan to provide on-demand educational content and assessments, it was announced Thursday.
 
Game Plan is the comprehensive student-athlete development digital platform that unifies and aligns athletic departments, athletes, and employers. To further enhance its academic and student-athlete development programming, UMass will integrate Game Plan's eLearning courses and will focus on supporting its juniors and seniors through the career and job search process via the industry's newest, innovative student-athlete career development resource.
 
"UMass Athletics strives to create an exceptional student-athlete experience and prepare our student-athletes for life beyond college and sports," said Joan Hopkins, Associate Director of Athletics/Academic Services. "Adding Game Plan's student-athlete development platform allows our academic services staff to reach student-athletes at every stage of their experience. We are excited to provide our student-athletes with additional tools that aid in a successful career transition."
 
Game Plan is an innovative platform that connects student-athletes with their many stakeholders to maximize their academic and professional development. Game Plan offers over 60 student-athlete eLearning modules, as well as personal and professional development assessments to help individuals identify and pursue their personal interests and strengths.

Additionally, Game Plan connects top employers and corporate sponsors with student-athletes through its online Career Marketplace to improve career outcomes.
