AMHERST, Mass. â University of Massachusetts Athletics posted an 89% Graduation Success Rate in the latest NCAA Division I Academic Performance Program report, released by the NCAA on Wednesday afternoon. The latest data set included information from the 2015-16 to 2018-19 freshman cohorts.Â

About the GSR  Â
Differing from the Federal Graduation Rate, the NCAA GSR holds colleges accountable for student-athletes who transfer to their school, but the GSR does not penalize colleges whose student-athletes leave the institution in good academic standing.Â
