HIGHLIGHTS

Rashaan Holloway shot 6-for-11 overall and 7-of-9 at the foul line for 19 points, his 14th game in double-digits. He had 11 consecutive UMass points in the second half from the 9:03 mark to 5:38 remained.
Donte Clark scored and facilitated the offense to the tune of 12 points and six assists. It was his 16th game scoring double-digits on the year and fourth with five or more assists.
With his 12 points, Donte Clark moved into 34th place all-time at UMass for points scored with 1,129. He surpassed Mike Williams (1,122) and Gary Forbes (1,128) at La Salle.
DeJon Jarreau scored the team's opening five points and finished with 12 at La Salle. It was his 10th game in double-digits this season. He added a team-high eight rebounds.
With 10 made 3-pointers, the Minutemen secured $347.50 in pledged donations for the Coaches vs. Cancer 3-Point Challenge.

FIRST HALF
Massachusetts earned a five-point halftime advantage as the Minutemen shot 55.6 percent overall (15-of-27), including 50.0 percent on 3-pointers (5-of-10). Luwane Pipkins had a team-best nine points in the frame on a trio of 3-point makes.

An 20-8 run in the middle of the half helped Massachusetts to a seven-point lead for the first time in the half at 26-19. The Minutemen went ahead by as many as eight in the frame – on Pipkins' triple at the 1:21 mark – but B.J. Johnson answered for La Salle on the other end to make it a five-point game at the break.

SECOND HALF
La Salle used a 10-2 run to vault in front, 57-50, via a 4-of-4 showing at the foul line and a pair of Johnson 3-pointers. The home squad extended their advantage to as much as 15 points as the Explorers shot 59.1 percent in the half (13-of-22), including 62.5 percent from long distance (5-of-8).

Rashaan Holloway kept the Minutemen within striking distance with 14 second half points on 4-for-7 shooting and a 6-of-7 finish at the foul line. He scored 11 consecutive UMass points, which ended with a pair of free throws at the 5:38 mark that made it a 74-68 La Salle lead. However, the Explorers followed with back-to-back scoring possessions to put the game out of reach.
