Football Unveils Alternate Uniforms For Fenway Gridiron Series Game

Minutemen to don Military Appreciation-themed uniforms; jersey auction to benefit on-campus groups planned, Gridiron Club
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts Athletics and the football program unveiled Military Appreciation-themed uniforms for the upcoming Fenway Gridiron Series game against Maine on Sat., Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. The uniforms feature stars and stripes patterning on the right and left shoulder pads, respectively, while each jersey reads "Minutemen" on the back nameplate in place of the individual's last name.
One hundred of the uniforms will be put up for auction, beginning on Wed., Nov. 8, with proceeds from the auction benefiting on-campus military support groups and the Gridiron Club. Detailed information on the auction will be available on Wed., Nov. 8.
Tickets to the Massachusetts football game versus Maine at Fenway Part are available for purchase now. All tickets must be purchased through the Fenway Gridiron Series website. Fenway Gridiron Series commemorative memorabilia will be available for purchase at the game.
