UMASS TRADITIONS
MinuteFan Park

All are invited to participate in the activities in MinuteFan Park, located in the NRG Plaza next to the ProShop. MinuteFan Park open three hours before game time.
Activities include: live entertainment (game dependent), reception hosted by the Alumni Association, video game trailers, bounce houses and tents hosted by UMass Athletics sponsors and vendors.
Please note that all entertainment, with the exception of food-related items, is FREE and open to the public.

Minuteman March

Be the first to greet the team! Two hours and 15 minutes prior to each home game, make your way to MinuteFan Way to see your favorite players up close and cheer them on as they march into Gillette Stadium led by the band and cheerleaders, Sam the Minuteman, UMass Band and Cheerleaders
Keep an eye out for the UMass Marching Band, UMass Cheerleaders and our mascot, Sam, as they walk through tailgating lots pre-game greeting fans and getting the Maroon and White faithful excited about a UMass victory!

Postgame Band Performance and Alma Mater

The Minuteman Marching Band has long been a source of pride for UMass Amherst and the surrounding region. Be sure to stay after each game, win or lose, to sing the UMass Alma mater, "When Twilight Shadows Deepen", with the band. The "Power and Class" then performs its traditional postgame show for thousands of enthusiastic dedicated fans, who don't leave the stadium until the last note.
