Mackey Award Names Todd Stafford to Watch List

AMHERST, Massachusetts – Announced Wednesday by the Friends of John Mackey, University of Massachusetts redshirt junior Todd Stafford is on the watch list for the 17^th John Mackey Award, given annually to the most outstanding collegiate tight end.

Stafford, a native of Riverside, Connecticut, appeared in 10 games at tight end in 2015, earning his first career start in the win against FIU. In 2014, he made one appearance at quarterback in the season finale vs. Buffalo. He redshirted the 2013 campaign.

The winner of the 2016 John Mackey Award will be announced as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards Show held on December 8, 2016.
