NCAA Rules Gresham Eligible to Compete

Freshman forward cleared to play
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts men's basketball freshman Brison Gresham has been ruled eligible to compete by the NCAA. Gresham is eligible to play immediately.
Gresham, who hails from New Orleans, La., is in his first year at the University of Massachusetts. The highly-touted 6-foot-9 forward and center ranked No. 7 in Louisiana, No. 29 at power forward and No. 54 in the Southeast Region according to ESPN recruiting services.
The Minutemen host Wagner at 7 p.m. on Nov. 30. Ticket information is available via 866-UMASS-TIX, in-person at the Mullins Center Box Office (9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.) or online through UMass Ticket Central.
