Women's Tennis Heads to Yale for Bulldog Invitational

AMHERST, Massachusetts - In its final tune-up before the ITA Regionals, the UMass women's tennis team heads to the Yale Bulldog Invitational this Friday and Saturday in New Haven, Connecticut. The Minutewomen are coming off an extended rest following a 5-2 win at UConn in its only dual meet of the fall just over a week ago.

Janja Kovacevic and Anna Woosley lead UMass with undefeated records to start the year. Kovacevic is 4-0 entering the weekend in singles play, while Woosley is 3-0. Brittany Collens is just behind the pair with a 3-1 record this season.

In doubles, the Minutewomen have been lead by Ruth Crawford and Woosley at No. 1 play with a 3-1 record. At No. 2 doubles, Ana Yrazusta and Kovacevic are also 3-1. Ashley Avery and Collens remain undefeated with a 3-0 mark at No. 3 doubles.

Woosley remains the active leader in singles wins with 52 entering the Bulldog Invitational.
