UMass Basketball Radio Show Heads to Springfield Monday

AMHERST, Mass. - The next edition of the 2015-16 Bud Light UMass Men's Basketball Radio Show will broadcast live from Nathan Bill's Bar and Restaurant in Springfield, Massachusetts, Monday evening. Head coach Derek Kellogg and Voice of the Minutemen Josh Maurer will broadcast live beginning at 7 p.m.
The show will feature discussion on the beginning of Atlantic 10 Conference play and will look ahead to the next week's games, which includes a Tues., Jan. 12 home contest in the Mullins Center against George Washington at 7 p.m. In addition to segments with Kellogg, senior center Tyler Bergantino will talk to Maurer as a player guest to the show after Bergantino had a career day against St. Bonaventure in his first start at center for UMass with 13 points, six made field goals, three blocks and 29 minutes played without a turnover.
The Minutemen play at home for two of their next three contests, including the upcoming Mullins Center contest versus George Washington on Jan. 12. After a quick trip to Davidson for a 12:30 p.m. tilt on Sat., Jan. 16, the Maroon and White return to Western Massachusetts to host Saint Louis on Sat., Jan. 23 at Noon.
