Baseball Announces Golf Tournament Date, Fall Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts baseball Head Coach Mike Stone has announced the date of the program's 10th annual UMass Baseball Golf Tournament as well as the team's fall ball schedule. The golf tournament is set for Friday, Oct. 16, at Hickory Ridge Golf Club in Amherst followed by an alumni game the following day, Saturday, Oct. 17, at Noon on Earl Lorden Field.
Registration for the tournament is $150.00 for a single golfer. Tee/pin sponsorships are also available for $200.00 apiece. The tournament format is an 18-hole scramble with a 1 p.m. shotgun start and a post-tournament dinner. Non-golfers are also invited to attend the dinner, catered by The Hickory Ridge Golf Club, for the cost of $25.00 per-person.
The Oct. 17 alumni game will cap off the Minutemen's fall slate that begins with a contest at Dartmouth on Sunday, Oct. 4, at Noon in Hanover, N.H. UMass will then play two home games, vs. Fairfield and Dartmouth on Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, respectively, both Noon starts at Earl Lorden Field.
