About The Crusaders
- Holy Cross enters Tuesday's matchup with Massachusetts with a 21-24 overall record, including a 12-8 mark in Patriot League action, tied for second in the conference. The Crusaders last hosted Bucknell in a four-game series last weekend (Apr. 25-26), with the Bison getting the upper hand in three of the four matchups.
- As a team, Holy Cross is tied for second in the Patriot League in batting average (.266) and boasts the top defense in the conference, posting a fielding percentage of .975.
- Brendan King and Ben White have been the stars of the Crusaders' pitching staff in both starting and bullpen roles. King leads the squad in ERA (2.13) and is second in the conference in that category, while White has earned a team-high four wins on the campaign.
- Offensively, the Crusaders have also played well. Clubbing 14 home runs this season, the bats are paced by Cam O'Neill, Jack St. Clair, and Anthony Critelli. Critelli, a sophomore, has hit three homers and is one of three players on the team with an average of .300 or higher.
- Several Crusaders have received recognition throughout the season, including Ben White as Patriot League Pitcher of the Week (March 23-29) and Cam O'Neill as Patriot League Rookie of the Week and ECAC Rookie of the Week (March 9-15).
