The Minutemen Compete At IC4A Championships

BOSTON, Mass - The Minutemen completed the first day of the IC4A Championship meet Saturday at Boston University. Benjamin Groleau competed in the mile run preliminaries while Michael McNaughton, Alexander Finestone, Cory Thomas, and Stephen Ness competed in the 4x800 meter run relays with the hope of qualifying for tomorrow's finals in each race.
The men's 4x800 meter relay team finished sixth in the preliminary race. McNaughton, Finestone, Thomas, and Ness qualified for finals with their combined finish of 7 minutes, 37.74-seconds. Benjamin Groleau fell short of finals, finishing 26th in the mile run preliminaries with a time of 4 minutes, 13.99-seconds.
Tomorrow comes the final day of the IC4A Championships. The 4x800 meter relay team is expected to compete in the final round of competition at 2:35 PM at Boston University.
