Divers Head to UConn This Saturday Afternoon

AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass men's and women's diving teams return to action this Saturday as the groups head down to UConn for a divers-only meet beginning at 1 p.m. The meet will take place at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
The Minutewomen have been led all season by Emma Roush who has gone undefeated on both boards during the first three meets. The sophomore turned in a season-best 266.55 point performance in the one-meter dive against Boston University, while posting a score of 251.48 on the three-meter board at the Colgate Invitational.
Junior Julia Jagannath and freshman Katie Polk have added strong depth to the group. In the last meet against Boston University, Jagannath posted season-high performances on both boards taking second on the three-meter and third in the one-meter. Polk has also scored in every meet this season having placed second twice on the one-meter board. She has a second, a third and a fourth-place finish in three competitions this season in the three-meter dive.
On the men's side, Trent Kindvall continues to lead the Minutemen having placed first in five of six diving events this year. He has three first-place finishes on the one-meter dive with a season-best of 276.15 points at Army, while taking first twice on the three-meter dive with a season-high of 339.98 points against Boston University two weeks ago.
Nolan Burns has placed second in five events this year, while winning the three-meter dive at Army with a season-high 237.98 points. He also had a season -high 237.82 points on the one-meter dive against the Black Knights.
