CHANDLER, Ariz. - University of Massachusetts field hockey junior Izzie Delario earned National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-Northeast Region First Team and sophomores Sarah Hawkshaw and Melanie Kreusch took home spots on the second team, as announced by the NFHCA Monday. It marks the second-such honor for Kreusch and the first picked up by Delario and Hawkshaw.

Delario paced the Minutewomen with 26 points during 17 appearances in 2015. She tallied seven goals and provided a team-high 12 assists despite missing four contests due to midseason surgery. Delario returned from her two-week hiatus against VCU on Oct. 16 and accrued 14 points over the final eight games of the season, during which the Minutewomen went 6-2.

Hawkshaw provided 20 points through nine goals - including two game-winners, and a pair of assists. A starter in the midfield during all 21 games, Hawkshaw also took home Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team and Atlantic 10 All-Tournament Team during her sophomore campaign. Her game-winning scores came during the regular season victories over UMass Lowell and Saint Joseph's.

Kreusch, the Atlantic 10 Tournament Most Outstanding Player, notched 25 points during her second season with the Maroon and White. A starter in the center on defense, Kreusch stepped up to hit on penalty corners and secured 11 goals with three assists as a result. She provided a flurry of points over the final four games of the season with 12 on five goals and two assists, including three tallies in the A-10 Championship Semifinal Round comeback win at Saint Joseph's and two more in the title game the following day.

The Minutewomen ended the year with an appearance in the 2015 NCAA Tournament, their third under head coach Carla Tagliente, after the team was crowned the Atlantic 10 Tournament Champions. Massachusetts finished 12-9 overall and 5-3 in Atlantic 10 games.
