Wednesday's UMass Field Hockey Game At UConn Cancelled

AMHERST, Mass. - Inclement weather projected for New England throughout the afternoon of Wednesday, Oct. 28 forced the cancellation of the University of Massachusetts field hockey program's 4 p.m. contest at the University of Connecticut. The game will not be rescheduled later in the season.

The Minutewomen (8-8 overall, 4-3 Atlantic 10) turn their attention to their final regular season contest, a Saturday, Oct. 31 tilt at Davidson (8-9, 5-2). A win in the contest earns the Maroon and White a berth into the 2015 Atlantic 10 Tournament.
