UMass Takes Third In Dartmouth Invitational

WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. - The Massachusetts women's swimming team finished third in the Dartmouth Invitational over the weekend, totaling 829 points at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center.
The Minutewomen finished behind Northeastern (1007) and Dartmouth (1006), and ahead of Connecticut College (378).
Meriza Werenski capped a 52-point individual performance with a six-second victory in the 400 Individual medley, with Katie Arnott and Jenna Diamond finishing fourth and fifth, respectively. Werenski also was fourth in the 200 Breaststroke
Jocelyn Yuen was team's high-point scorer in the two Butterfly races, winning the 200 and finishing third in the 100.
Dasha Egkorova and Zoe Judd touched the wall in the 200 Free in the third and fifth spots.
Katie Arnott recorded a pair of thirds in the 100 and 200 Breaststrokes.
Both UMass teams will conclude their regular-season next Saturday with a dual meet at Fordham. The A-10 Championships are set for Feb. 18-21 at the Spire Center in Geneva, Ohio.
