2014 NCAA Rowing Championships Results

INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Massachusetts rowing program completed the semifinal round of the NCAA Championships at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind., on Saturday morning, with all three boats moving to the D Finals on Sunday. The Varsity 4+ and Second Varsity 8+ each finished fourth in their respective races while the Varsity 8+ earned fifth.

Emily Hajjar, Rachel Boudreau, Gabrielle Hayward, Kyla Miller and Sam Wonderlin earned an 8:05.994 time in the Varsity 4+ C/D Semifinal. UCLA took first in 7:55.359, followed by Louisville and San Diego while Boston University crossed in fifth.

The Second Varsity 8+ rowed against Indiana, Louisville and Northeastern in the C/D Semifinal and finished fourth with a time of 7:26.892. Haley Eovine, Haley York, Hannah Monahan, Catherine Murphy, Hadley Irvin, Natalie Boisvert, Teagan Rolf von den Baumen, Krysten Menks and Nicole Juul-Hindsgaul raced for the Minutewomen in the Second Varsity 8+.

UMass' Varsity 8+ boat tallied fifth in the C/D Semifinal in 7:05.844. Heather Pekarovich, Taryn Wilson, Emily Mann, Marika Kopp, Pippa Edwards, Candace Miller, Sam Kolovson, Lauren St. Pierre and Allanah Rubi-Mooney raced against San Diego, Wisconsin, Northeastern and Boston University during the semifinal round.

All three boats complete competition at the NCAA Championships with appearances in their respective finals. The Varsity 4+ begins the day for the Minutewomen at 8:30 a.m. ahead of the Second Varsity 8+ at 8:50 a.m. and the Varsity 8+ at 9:10 a.m.
