Ingham Highlights Men's A-10 Performance

KINGSTON, R.I. - The Minutemen wrapped up the A-10 Championships Sunday afternoon with six top eight performances to carry them into ninth place overall. Nick Ingham turned in the perhaps the most impressive performance of the championship. The freshman fought through seven events over two days in the heptathlon for 4666 points and finished the championship meet with a third place finish.
Stephen Bigelow and Quinn Ryder struck early with an eighth place finish in their respective events. Bigelow placed fifth in the 60 meter hurdles, crossing the finish line in 8.26-seconds. Ryder finished the 60 meter dash in 7.13-seconds for an eighth place finish.
Antony Taylor placed seventh in the 3,000 meter run after finishing the race in 8-minutes, 32.67-seconds. Andrew Grube was a part of two top eight performances on the day. Grube placed eighth in the high jump with a height of 6-feet, 4.25-inches. The senior later teamed up with Paul Grafov, Patrick Farnham, and Ryder for a sixth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3-minutes, 26.20-seconds.
The Minutemen are set to compete in the New England Championships on Friday, February 22. The start time is set for 10:00 A.M. in Boston, Mass.
