ESPN3 To Carry Akron Game Next Saturday At Gillette

AMHERST, Mass. - The Mid-American conference announced this week that ESPN3 will carry the Akron at Massachusetts game next Saturday at Gillette Stadium. The home finale will be Senior Day for the Minutemen with this year's class being honored prior to kick-off.
Bob Picozzi and KC Keeler will call the action for ESPN3 which is available online and via the WatchESPN app for mobile devices.
The game will also be carried on the UMass Sports Network (105.5 FM Springfield, 1440 AM WVEI Worcester, 95.9 FM WATD South Shore).
Next Saturday will also be Educators Day at Gillette Stadium with teachers and education professionals able to get special discounted tickets for the game. Additionally, UMass will recognize teachers who have been honored by the Education Recognition Program for service during the game.
As has been done all year, the Akron game will also recognize the UMass College of Education, the College of Nursing and the School of Public Health & Health Sciences as part of Educators Day.
