A-10 Announces 2012 Rowing Academic All-Conference

Senior rower Emily Boucher was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic team on Wednesday. Boucher was also named the UMass Female Spring Scholar athlete at the senior banquet earlier this month.
The Atlantic 10 announced Wednesday that it has named 10 women's rowers to the Academic All-Conference team for 2012. The team was selected by a vote of the league's rowing media relations directors.
Six rowers that were previous selected for 2012 All-Conference honors were chosen for the award, which honors student-athlete for their combined prowess in both the classroom and in the boat.
Rhode Island, the 2012 A-10 Rowing Champions and Dayton each had three student-athletes honored. Temple had two selections and George Washington and Massachusetts each had one.
