Final Stats

PRINCETON, N.J. - Wrapping up a two day event, the UMass men's track and field team limited its number of competitors om the final day of the Larry Ellis Invitational. In a meet hosted by Ivy League member, Princeton, the Minutemen added twoNew England Championship qualifiers to make it a total of seven over the two days.

Qualifying in not one, but two events was Evan Donadt. The hurdling events were the string of luck for Donadt as he crossed the line at 56.16 in the 400 meter hurdles, while finishing with a time of 15.49 in the 110 meter hurdles. Both marks were good enough to qualify for the New England Championships.

Continuing his success in multiple events, already New England qualified Zachary Koncki improved upon his previous 110 meter hurdles qualifying time. Coincidentally, Koncki, crossed the line at the same exact time as Donadt (15.49). The duo tied for 24th overall.

Rounding out the field of competitors for UMass on day two was the persistent Sean Busch, who improved upon his previous New England qualifying mark of 14-09.00 in the pole vault, set back at the UConn Invitational (4/3). His height of 15-03.00 on Saturday was a mere two inches shy of his career best, which is also the third best mark in school history (15-05.00).

The Minutemen will be back in action on Saturday, April 24 as the team heads to Durham, N.H. for the UNH Pre-Conference Meet. The start time is set for 11:30 am.
