Schwartz Ranks Sixth At Holy Cross Decathlon

Worcester, Mass. - Sophomore Daniel Schwartz (Sudbury, Mass.) finished sixth of 24 athletes at the Holy Cross College Multi Event Meet on Thursday and Friday. Alex Ivanov of Fitchburg State College won the meet with 6055 total points. Schwartz scored three points for the Minutemen. The sophomore scored the most points in the 400 meter run with a time of 51.89. Schwartz also finished first in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:35.57.
Chris Dzidek (Chicopee, Mass.) finished tenth with 5309. The sophomore scored the most points in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.69. Daniel Wu (Tenafly,N.J.) ranked 17th overall with a score of 4781. He ranked first in the long jump with a distance of 6.79 meters.
The Minutemen traveled to Princeton today for the Larry Ellis Invitational.
