DEPTFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. - UMass senior football captain Jeromy Miles was honored on Wednesday night by the Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey at their 42nd annual dinner. Miles was named the College Player of the Year in FCS from the region. He is a native of Sicklerville, N.J., and played at Winslow Township High School.

He continues to garner awards as he was named to the All-CAA First Team and named a New England Football Writers All-Star.

Miles is getting a strong look for a chance to play in the NFL. He had 62 tackles along with two interceptions and five passes defended as teams did not challenge him often.
