Fan Information On NIT Championship Game

The official pregame tailgate party of UMass will once again be held at Joe O's on 33rd Street across from Madison Square Garden. The event is sponsored by the UMass Alumni Association and will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

UMass is again running a bus trip to New York on Thursday, April 3 (You must reserve your spot by 5 p.m. on Wednesday). Please call 1-413-545-1401 for more information on the bus trip leaving from Amherst.

Ticket Information

Tickets for the Championship Game are on sale now. Fans can purchase them by calling 1-866-UMASS-TIX.

Fans already in the New York area can also purchase tickets through Madison Square Garden by calling 212-465-MSG-1

When purchasing tickets, fans should request seats in the UMass fan sections: 45-50, 85-97, and 124-131. Ticket prices range from $15 to $55.

UMass Bus Trip
The UMass marketing office will be running a bus trip for all UMass fans and students to Madison Square Garden. It will be a one-day roundtrip leaving on Thursday, April 3 for the NIT Championship game. The bus leaves at NOON from McGuirk Alumni Stadium on the South Side. Deadline to reserve a spot on a bus is 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The Chancellor's office is now subsidizing $25 of each student bus trip, so the cost for UMass students is now only $30. Those who already purchased seats for $55 will be reimbursed $25.

The bus cost is $80 for all non-students.
