UMass Adds Exhibition Game With American International On Nov. 1

AMHERST, Mass. - UMass has announced it will be adding an additional preseason exhibition game for its men's basketball team. The Minutemen will host local Division II foe American International on Nov. 1, 2007. The game will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. at the Mullins Center.
UMass and AIC last played in 1987, in a regular season game with the Minutemen winning 78-65 on Dec. 29, 1987 at the Springfield Civic Center as part of the Springfield Classic. The teams have played 34 regular season games between 1941-1987 with UMass winning 20 of the contests.
UMass will also play an exhibition against Concordia of New York on Nov. 3, 2007 at 9:30 p.m. in the Curry Hicks Cage.
