AMHERST, Mass. - The UMass field hockey program will be holding its Annual Alumni Game on Sunday, April 29 at 1 p.m. The game will be played at Garber Field. All former players are invited to join new head coach Justine Sowry for this great event to celebrate UMass field hockey.

"There are many passionate and successful UMass alums out there who can contribute to the future success of the program," said Sowry. "This will be the first opportunity for the new coaching staff to introduce ourselves and share our ideas for the future with those who helped create a program that is defined by pride and tradition. This provides the perfect opportunity for us to meet some of the legends of the program, to learn the history, and to reflect on the past accomplishments and successes that are UMass Field Hockey.

"Our goal moving forward is to generate some excitement and bring back the energy that once existed. In order to do this our current team needs to meet former players and understand the history and tradition of the program for which they are now a part. An opportunity exists for our current athletes to contribute to something great and that alone should inspire them to be the best that they can be."
