UMass Women's Crew Team Competes In Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. - The UMass women's crew team cruised to a second-place finish at the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday. This novice race combined the top two crew team times to establish the final team rankings. Radcliff won the invitational with a time of 32:58, while UMass had a combined time of 33:48, placing in front of Northeastern, Boston University, UVM, Radcliffe Lightweight, and MIT Lightweight.
The UMass A boat crossed the finish line with a time of 16:53 and showcased the talents of coxswain Molly Boggle, and rowers Liz Euiler, Amy Nash, Jen Dolan, Kelsey Schachter, Terri O'Brien, Ellie Brazenall, Jen Coyne, and Anna Tocco. The UMass B boat sailed in right behind UMass A boat with a time of 16:55. The UMass B boat comprised of coxswain Sam Schnoerr, Dani Vollman, Alli DeMatteo, Ellis Brewster, Kelly Barrett, Chelsea Wakeham, Lizx Tran, Rachel Spielberg, and Elli Brazenall.
The UMass C boat and The UMass D boat also had a great race, coming in at 19:09 and 20:09 respectively. UMass C boat consisted of coxswain Alex Scisco, Megan Donnavan, Emily Hagan, Kristen Gahagan, Leigh Sullivan, Meredith Kearney, Jess Redmond, Alex Lucas, Roz Gill. The UMass D boat featured coxswain Carley Payne, Erica Willis, Jane Weiler, Jackie Dubois, Lauren Pineda, Jen Banks, Britney Regan, Sam Semlitz, and Lynda Yong.
The last race of the fall season will be on November 17 at the Foot of the Charles in Boston.
