FieldTurf Installation Nears Completion; Football Camp Opens Wednesday

AMHERST, Mass. - The FieldTurf installation at McGuirk Alumni Stadium is nearly complete as the end zone and midfield logos are now in place. The final turf is being placed in as the maroon shadows of the yard-line numerals. The process of adding the rubber pellets to complete the field will be begin shortly, allowing for the football team to practice in McGuirk in the coming days. The UMass team begins practice on its grass field on Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m.
