UMass Baseball Announces Fall Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts baseball coach Mike Stone announced this week the Fall 2006 schedule for the Minutemen. UMass will host three teams, while once again ending the season vs. Dartmouth.
Practice begins on Monday, Sept. 11 at Earl Lorden Field, while competition will get underway on Sunday, Sept. 24 when the Minutemen host Vermont at Noon. In addition to the Catamounts, UMass will host Elms College and the Big Green.
The fall alumni game will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23. Details of the Alumni Game are forthcoming.
The fall schedule concludes on Sunday, Oct. 15 vs. Dartmouth.
Mon., Sept. 11--First Practice; 3:00 p.m. (Earl Lorden Field)
Sat., Sept. 23--Alumni Game; Noon (Earl Lorden Field)
Sun., Sept. 24--Vermont; Noon (Earl Lorden Field)
Sun., Oct. 1--Brown; Noon- Providence, R.I.
Sat., Oct. 7--Elms; Noon (Earl Lorden Field)
Sun., Oct. 8--Holy Cross; Noon- Worcestor, Mass.
