UMass Women's Rowing Races In The Charles River Saturday

Amherst, Mass. - The UMass women's rowing team will head to Boston to race Brown, Boston University, and Texas on Saturday in the Charles River. The time will be determined later when the weather conditions will be better known.
The Minutewomen enter the weekend as the third-ranked varsity eight in the Mid-Atlantic region and the sixth-ranked overall crew.
The line-up for this regatta is as follows: The varsity eight: stroke - Catherine Gariepy, Gabrielle Papineau, Hannah Brewster, Sarah Marsan, Katie Berger, Ellen Maskrey, Rachael Nealer, Bow - Stephanie Hopf, with Dana Pulda as coxswain.
The second varsity eight: Stroke - Kristin Boyce, Jaime Dicke, Faith Miller, Amanda Mawn, Kate Grogan, Allison Bahn, Elizabeth Hayashida, Bow - Farrell Klein, with Natalie Salerno as coxswain.
The varsity four: Stroke - Annie Pacheco, Karalyn Walk, Sarah Weinstock, Bow - Julia Stern and Mollie Morgan as coxswain.
The novice eight: Stroke - Airlina Burrill, Mary-Frances Heck, Emerald Shirley, Haley Fitzgerald, Katarina Karottki, Anna Welch, Karen Plevock, Bow - Kendal Peirce, and Jeanine LeDoux as coxswain.
The novice four: Stroke - Mariah McCormick, Stephanie Vasilchuk, Andrea Morand, Bow - Sarah Potts, and Benna Cheung as coxswain.
Directions to Riverside Boat Club From Mass Pike (Interstate 90)
1. Take the Pike to the Cambridge/Allston/Brighton exit 2. After paying the toll bear right, following the signs to Cambridge 3. Go straight through the traffic lights and over the bridge (over the Charles River) into Cambridge 4. Once over the bridge make an immediate right turn onto Memorial Drive 5. See the boathouse on the right, about 300 yards from the intersection
