UMass Edges Dartmouth In Women's Tennis, 4-3

Hanover, N.H. - The University of Massachusetts women's tennis team (3-3) bounced back from Sunday's loss to Cornell by defeating Dartmouth Wednesday night 4-3. The Minutewomen won singles No.'s 1, 2, and 5 along with the doubles point to seal the victory.

Michele Spiess, playing in her first match since being named A-10 tennis permormer of the week, continued her undefeated play. She won her #1 singles match and teamed with Masha Pozar to win #1 doubles. The other two points came from Pozar winning #2 singles, and Gimenez winning #5 singles.

The Minutewomen are back in action Friday night as they host the Providence Friars at the Bay Road Tennis Center at 7:00 pm.
