UMass Rowers To Compete At The Head Of The Charles

Amherst, Mass. - The UMass women's rowing team will race at the Head of the Charles this weekend in Boston. The Minutewomen will enter boats in both the championship eight and the collegiate double. Coaches Jim Dietz and Alex Binkowski will also row in singles events.
UMass will enter Sarah Marsan and Hannah Brewster in the collegiate double.
The championship eight boat will feature rowers Gabrielle Papineau, Ellen Maskrey, Airlina Burrill, Haley Fitzgerald, Jaime Dicke, Erin Kelly, Kristen Boyce, and Tara Guinan. The coxswain is Dana Pulda.
Head Coach Jim Dietz and assistant coach Alex Binkowski will both be rowing at the Head of the Charles. Dietz is entered in the grand master's single and Binkowski will row in the senior master's single.
