UMass Baseball Releases Fall Schedule

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts baseball coach Mike Stone announced this week the Fall 2005 schedule for the Minutemen. UMass will host four teams, while ending the season on the road at Dartmouth.
Practice begins on Monday, Sept. 12 at Earl Lorden Field, while competition will get underway on Sunday, Oct. 2 when the Minutemen host Holy Cross at Noon. In addition to the Crusaders, UMass will host Quinnipiac, Vermont and Brown.
There will be an intra-squad Scout Day scrimmage on Thursday, Oct. 13 before the Alumni Game two days later. Details of the Alumni Game are forthcoming.
The fall schedule concludes on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Dartmouth.

Sun., Oct. 2: HOLY CROSS; Noon (Earl Lorden Field)
Sat., Oct. 8: QUINNIPIAC; Noon (Earl Lorden Field)
Sun., Oct. 9: VERMONT; Noon (Earl Lorden Field)
Mon., Oct. 10: BROWN; Noon (Earl Lorden Field)
Thurs., Oct. 13: INTRA-SQUAD SCRIMMAGE/SCOUT DAY; 3:00 p.m. (Earl Lorden Field)
Sat., Oct. 15: ALUMNI GAME; 11:00 a.m. (Earl Lorden Field)
Sun., Oct. 16: at Dartmouth; Noon (Hanover, N.H.)
