AMHERST, Mass. - Britt Canfield, UMass' leading scorer and rookie from the 2004 season, has joined the Rachel LeDuc, who also plays for the Mutiny.
"We are definitely excited to have Britt join us," said New England Mutiny head coach Austin Daniels. "She is a young, talented player and we are lucky to have her here this summer as a full-time member."
Canfield played in all 18 games for Massachusetts in 2004, racking up 11 goals for 22 points to lead the Minutewomen. Her 63 shots and three gamewinners also led the team. She was named to the Atlantic 10 Rookie Team as well as the all-conference second team for her efforts.
In addition to Canfield and LeDuc, Lindsey Fairweather, Kristen Rutland and Nadia Villarroel are all current/former Minutewomen that play for teams in the WPSL.
