Amherst, Mass. - The UMass women's rowing team, fresh a victory in the Atlantic 10 Championship, will travel to Syracuse, N.Y., on Saturday to challenge Villanova and Syracuse. The first race starts at 8 a.m.

The big race of the day will match the 19th-ranked Atlantic 10 Champion Minutewomen varsity eight against 18th-ranked Syracuse and Villanova varsity eights. The other races include the second varsity eight, the varsity four (UMass was the A-10 Champ), the novice eight, and the lightweight eight.

Directions to the Boathouse:

Take I-81 North and follow signs for 690 West (towards Baldwinsville). Take 690 West about 5 miles to Exit 4 (John Glenn Blvd.). Cross the railroad tracks and turn right at the first traffic light onto Longbranch Road. Continue on Longbranch to the one lane bridge. You will see the boathouse complex across the river. Cross over the bridge and make your second left onto Ten Eyck Rd. Continue on to the boathouse.
