UMass Women's Rowing Earns National Ranking

Amherst, Mass. - The UMass women's rowing team heads to the Atlantic 10 championships on Saturday as the 19th-ranked team, according to the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll. It is the first time since the 1999 season that UMass has been ranked.

The Minutewomen have won the Atlantic 10 championship for eight straight years and look for number nine this weekend. The A-10 regatta will be held on the Cooper River in Collingswood, N.J., on Saturday.
