Campus Appreciation Day Set For September 6

AMHERST, Mass. - All faculty and staff members of the University of Massachusetts have received a card in the mail good for two complimentary general admission tickets to the UMass vs. Central Connecticut State football game on Saturday, September 6. The game will be played at Warren McGuirk Alumni Stadium and kick-off is slated for 1:00 p.m. In order to receive their tickets, all UMass faculty and staff will need to show their ID as well as the card they received in the mail.
All faculty and staff are encouraged to get their tickets in advance at the UMass Athletics Ticket Office located in the Mullins Center. Tickets may also be obtained on game-day at McGuirk Stadium. It's the first game of the 2003 season, so come out and enjoy an afternoon of football, compliments of the UMass Athletic Department.
While at the game, be sure to stop by MinuteFAN Park presented by the UMass Amherst Alumni Association. It is the ultimate fan experience that opens two hours prior to game time. The Park features live music, food and beverages, Coca-Cola Football Town USA, an interactive kid's zone and much, much more.
