KINGSTON, R.I. - The University of Massachusetts baseball team swept a doubleheader at Rhode Island this afternoon, winning 4-3 in the opening game, then posting a 7-4 victory in the nightcap. UMass improves to 12-15 overall and 4-7 in the Atlantic 10 Conference with the victories, while Rhode Island falls to 15-19 overall and 3-8 in league play.
