Baseball's Stojanowski Named To All-Atlantic 10 Tournament Team

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Freshman Adam Stojanowski (West Roxbury, Mass.), a member of the University of Massachusetts baseball team, has been named to the 2001 All-Atlantic 10 Tournament team. The second baseman went six for 10 with three runs batted in during UMass' three games in the tournament.
Stojanowski began the tournament by going three for four with two RBI in UMass' 4-3 victory over George Washington. He drove in the winning run against the Colonials with an RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning. Stojanowski was also one for two with an RBI and a sacrifice bunt in a 6-3 loss to Temple, and two for four in a 9-1 loss to George Washington.
The Minutemen finished the 2001 season with an overall record of 27-19. UMass won the Atlantic 10 regular season title, posting a 16-6 mark in conference action.
