Minutemen Fall To Toledo 24-3

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Chester Taylor rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown as Toledo beat Massachusetts 24-3 Saturday.
Taylor scored on an 18-yard run that put the Rockets (2-1) ahead 17-3 with 16 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
Massachusetts (1-2), the defending Division I-AA champion, held a 3-0 lead with six minutes left in the first half on Jason Cherry's 30-yard field goal.
Toledo went ahead 7-3 on Will Bratton's 5-yard run 1:10 before halftime. Bratton added 76 yards rushing on 16 carries.
Marcel Shipp rushed for 111 yards on 29 carries for the Minutemen, but Toledo intercepted two passes off Todd Bankhead and held Massachusetts to 4-for-16 on third-down conversions.
Bankhead completed 13-of-32 passes for 97 yards.
Dan Cole added an 11-yard TD pass to Carl Ford in the fourth quarter for Toledo.
