Kristi Lawless, who serves as the Director of Annual Fund & Communications for Athletics Development at the University of Massachusetts, joined the Minutemen Club staff in September 2021.
Prior to arriving at UMass, Lawless spent the previous five years working at the United States Military Academy at West Point. During her time at Army, Lawless served as the Associate Director of Marketing after spending her first two years as a Sales Consultant and Women Sport Specialist for The Aspire Group. Through her role with the Marketing team, she was responsible for all fan engagement, in-game presentation, marketing plans, and revenue generating initiatives for the Hockey, Women's Basketball and Women's Lacrosse teams. During her time with The Aspire Group, Lawless was promoted to Women Sport Specialist where she focused on the promotion and attendance for the women's sports teams. She was awarded the top employee in the company for the month of October in 2018.
Prior to her arrival at West Point, Lawless served as a Graduate Assistant for the Sport Management program at Castleton University, while completing her Master of Science in Athletic Leadership. Lawless also earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Castleton University, where she was a member of both the softball and volleyball teams.
A native of Fort Montgomery, New York, Lawless currently resides in Chicopee.
